Provide first aid and manage everyday illnesses (headaches, stomachaches, injuries). Monitor students with chronic conditions (asthma, diabetes, seizures, allergies, mental health conditions) and implement routine and PRN medications and care per orders. Verify medical orders, document medication administration, and safely administer routine and PRN medications. Act as the lead responder to medical emergencies on campus. Train staff on emergency protocols and equipment use. Develop and update IHPs (Individualized Healthcare Plans), IEPs (Individualized Education Plans), and 504 Plans related to medical conditions; participate in meetings as needed. Collaborate with parents and school staff regarding students with medical needs. Conduct or assist with health screenings (vision, hearing, growth/BMI, blood pressure). Delegate and supervise nursing tasks in accordance with state regulations.
Compensation
$38-$45/hr
