As the Bilingual Support Counselor, you will provide culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed, and family-centered services and planning that supports a client and their family to achieve their care plan goals. The Support Counselor works to ensure that clients living in Seneca’s foster care programs are stabilized in their placements by providing mental health support, skill building, crisis intervention, and case management services. The primary responsibilities are to act as a behavioral coach and mentor to clients referred into the program and collaborating with the clinician to support resource (foster) parents in their role.
