Under the clinical supervision of the Director of Youth and Young Adult Services, the Youth and Young Adult Mental Health Clinician (Clinician) conducts professional mental health assessments and provides CAPIT services (child abuse prevention, intervention, and treatment), including individual and/or group/family counseling, psychotherapeutic services, crisis management, and other related services and activities for clients and their family members. This role involves working in field-based settings and engaging with high-risk, marginalized, or otherwise vulnerable populations (e.g., foster care, homeless, sexually exploited, pregnant and parenting youth, transition-age youth, LGBTQ+ youth, etc.) and individuals in crisis.
