Preschool For All Prevention Mental Health Consultant

The Preschool For All (PFA) Prevention Mental Health Consultant (MHC) provides a range of culturally relevant, evidence based mental health services, consultation, and training to Preschool for all sites/providers. This position will also provide preventative mental health consultation services (e.g., positive behavior intervention supports in classrooms and homes) to Preschool for All providers, administrators and staff for assessing and intervening with children, to improve the ability of the agency to prevent and ameliorate the mental, emotional, social and familial difficulties of the children and families in their care. Additionally, this position coordinates with community agencies, natural support systems, churches, etc. to increase awareness of and access to positive mental health development for children and families and requires use of personal vehicle or vehicle from fleet to travel to assigned education and childcare sites.
