Mentorship and Community Engagement Coordinator

The Warming Shelter is the Siouxland region’s only year-round, low-barrier emergency shelter, providing essential services such as emergency housing, meals, hygiene support, case management, resource navigation, and connections to healthcare and behavioral health care. The Mentorship & Community Engagement Coordinator will help strengthen these efforts by expanding relationship-based support, building youth mental health and wellness opportunities, coordinating mentorship activities, and improving volunteer engagement. As a Youth Mental Health Corps (YMHC) member, the Coordinator will help reduce social isolation, improve access to mental health resources, strengthen support networks for youth and young adults experiencing homelessness, and create sustainable program infrastructure that continues beyond the service term.
