Mental Health Crisis Specialist

This person filling this position will go into the field with Vermont State Police on police calls to provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, mental health assessment, and help provide safe disposition and referrals for ongoing mental health and substance use treatment and support. The clinician will collaborate closely with the Emergency Screening Team and other WCMHS clinicians as well as other social services providers.
