Fund Development Director

This position will provide leadership for the Association in these areas: Fund development activities that are designed to increase funding stability for the Association and to support the President/CEO and the MHAM board of directors in the pursuit of dollars that will support the mission of the Association. This position reports to the President/CEO. In conjunction with the Chief Executive Officer and Board, create and implement an annual and longer-term fundraising plan with dollar goals, objectives, and strategies for identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major individual gifts, foundation grants, and corporate gifts and sponsorships. This position will also oversee the development, management, and execution of special events and fund-raising campaigns that engage board members, consumers, external stakeholders and staff to ensure efficient and effective implementation, and maintain ongoing knowledge of the philanthropic community to identify potential donors, strengthen existing relationships and enhance the accuracy of projections.
