PFLAG National is the first and largest organization for LGBTQ+ people, their parents and families, and allies. With nearly 250,000 members and supporters and 400 chapters in the United States, this vast grassroots network is cultivated, resourced and serviced by the PFLAG National Office, the Board of Directors and 13 Regional Directors.
The Chapter Engagement Intern’s primary role is to bolster the department’s staff and our role in supporting PFLAG’s chapter network. The chapter engagement team works with a strong interdisciplinary approach that complements and supports all departments across the organization. Interns will work remotely or from the PFLAG National office in Washington DC. Depending on the requirements of an intern’s college or university, an intern may receive course credit. An evaluation of the intern’s work will be provided that corresponds to an institution’s prescribed requirements.
