The Case Manager Intern assists staff in providing support, education, and intervention to caregivers in optimizing functioning in order to minimize family risk factors. FSSI will work as part of a team in a solution-focused manner to help families develop the skills necessary to ensure a safe and secure home environment for their children. Such tasks may include, supporting families to access basic needs, household organization, parenting strategies and attachment, support around mental health and substance use challenges and reintegration of the children back into the family. FSSI candidate should have a passion for supporting families outside of a traditional behavioral health office setting, ability to problem-solve within a team during times of crisis, flexibility in scheduling and decision-making and strong organizational and documentation skills. Services are provided in the home, community and in the office.
